From First Visit to White-Glove Installation

Every Westborough project follows the same four steps. Each one happens in your home.

Kendra visits your home

She brings fabric swatches, shade samples, shutter stains, and hardware. You see each choice in your own light.

We measure every window

Older homes often have frames that are out of square. We measure by hand so each treatment fits.

You get a tailored plan

Kendra recommends fabrics, hardware, and motorization that suit your home and how you live.

White Glove installation

Our team installs your treatments from start to finish. No subcontractors and no shortcuts.

“My wife and I couldn’t be more pleased with Kendra’s work. She provided us with window treatments for our whole home. The quality and design are outstanding; they add so much color and finish to all our rooms and are worth every penny that we paid for them. The installation process was flawless. She was very thorough and job focused and completed the entire installation in a very short time. If you’re contemplating remodeling your home or decorating a new home as we were, and this includes new window treatments, I would whole-heartedly recommend contacting Kendra. You won’t be disappointed.”

“As a professional interior designer, I have worked with Kendra for years. After working with few other specialists before meeting her, I made Kendra my dedicated window treatment source. Even if I am not at the meeting with my client, I know she will display the professionalism that I can expect from all my sub-contractors. She is soft spoken, patient, knowledgeable, attentive to details, and an outstanding communicator. She is great! Thanks for being part of my team, Kendra!”

“Simply Windows was a FABULOUS find. I was referred to Kendra by another broker colleague. She was easy to deal with and had great advice on the type of window treatments to go in my new home. She constructed amazing cornices for my family room. She’s incredibly talented and has a great eye for color and style.”

“Kendra and her team measured my windows for faux wood blinds and had them made to order and installed within two weeks. They fit perfectly, look fantastic, and open and close with ease. The price was quite reasonable, significantly better than the online blinds stores. I would definitely recommend Simply Windows. It’s so nice to be able to work with the business owner rather than partially knowledgeable representative that the chain stores send out!”

Enhance Your Space with Curtains, Window Shades, Blinds, and Shutters

Westborough sits at the heart of MetroWest Massachusetts, where classic New England colonials line tree-shaded streets alongside the area's growing collection of upscale new construction. Whichever describes your home, the right window treatments do more than dress a window — they solve real problems: managing New England's dramatic seasonal light shifts, adding privacy on busier streets, and pulling a room's design together.

At Simply Windows, Kendra Weldon and our design team bring that understanding to every Westborough project. That holds true whether you're dressing tall, multi-pane windows in a center-hall colonial or coordinating a full-home solution, room by room, for a newly built home.

We offer solutions for every style and every window — from the warmth of custom draperies to the clean lines of window shades, the precision of blinds, and the timeless appeal of shutters.

Custom Draperies for Westborough's Classic Colonials

Westborough's colonial-style homes, with their formal living and dining rooms, are beautifully suited for custom draperies . Our designers work with a curated fabric library — including Kravet, Stout, and Kasmir — to create treatments that frame tall windows and add warmth to traditional interiors.

Versatile Window Shades for New Construction and Classic Homes Alike

Window shades offer clean, flexible light management for any home style. Roman shades soften a formal dining room, while solar shades manage glare in a sun-filled great room typical of Westborough's newer builds. Motorized options through Hunter Douglas PowerView make either style effortless to live with.

Roman Shades and Woven Woods for Westborough Kitchens, Dining Rooms, and Smaller Windows

Not every room needs full-length drapery. Custom Roman shades and woven wood shades add softness and texture to kitchens, breakfast nooks, and dining rooms. Fabrics and natural weaves from Hunter Douglas and our other trusted vendors suit both Westborough's colonials and its newer homes.

Precise Light Control with Blinds

Blinds are a versatile, practical choice for rooms that need precise light control year-round. We offer wood, faux wood, and metal blinds in finishes suited to both Westborough's traditional colonials and its contemporary new construction.

Timeless Shutters for New England Architecture

Few window treatments complement New England's classic architecture better than plantation shutters . They're especially well-suited to Westborough's colonial-style homes, delivering excellent light control, privacy, and a polished finish that enhances every room.

Motorized Shades for Busy Westborough Households

For homeowners who want convenience alongside character, our motorized options — including Hunter Douglas PowerView and Lutron — make it effortless to control every shade and drapery in your home. Adjust from your phone, or set a schedule that works around your family's routine.

Window Treatments Built for New England Winters

Center-hall colonials and tall, multi-pane windows can feel drafty from December to March. The right treatment helps hold the warmth in.

Cellular shades

Honeycomb cells trap air at the glass. Hunter Douglas Duette® shades suit the tall windows found in Westborough's colonials.

A close, custom fit

Shades that sit snugly in the frame limit air movement. We measure every window by hand.

Layers that work together

Lined or interlined drapery over a shade adds warmth to formal living and dining rooms and keeps the look polished.

A: Yes. Simply Windows is a locally owned blinds and shade company based in Westborough, MA, at 133 East Main Street. We design, measure, and install custom blinds, shades, shutters, and draperies for homes throughout Westborough and the MetroWest area.

  • Q: Do you provide professional installation for window treatments?

A: Yes, Simply Windows provides professional installation for all window treatment products. Our experienced installation team handles everything from precise measurement through final mounting. We'll walk you through the full timeline and what to expect during your initial consultation.

  • Q: Can window treatments help with energy efficiency in a New England home?

A: Absolutely. In Westborough's climate — with cold winters and warm summers — the right window treatments make a meaningful difference in managing heat gain and loss. Many of our products, including Hunter Douglas cellular shades, are specifically engineered to insulate windows, reduce energy transfer, and help maintain comfortable indoor temperatures year-round.

  • Q: Do you offer free in-home consultations for window treatments in Westborough, MA?

A: Yes — Simply Windows offers complimentary in-home consultations throughout Westborough and the surrounding MetroWest area, including Northborough, Southborough, Shrewsbury, and Marlborough. You can also visit our Westborough showroom at 133 East Main Street to explore our full range of window treatments in person.

  • Q: What types of window treatments and brands does Simply Windows carry?

A: We carry a comprehensive selection of blinds, shades, shutters, and draperies from over a dozen premium brands. Our collection includes Hunter Douglas, Alta Window Fashions, Norman Shutters, and Lutron motorized shades, ensuring you'll find the perfect window treatment for any room and any style preference.

  • Q: How much do custom window treatments cost in Westborough, MA?

A: Window treatment costs in Westborough vary based on product type, material, and the number of windows being covered. Simply Windows offers options across multiple price points — from classic blinds to fully motorized Hunter Douglas systems — and we provide free, no-obligation quotes so you know exactly what to expect before committing.

  • Q: Can you motorize shades on tall or arched windows in Westborough?

A: Often, yes. Stair-hall and multi-pane windows are common in Westborough colonials and newer homes. Kendra reviews each window in person, including its height, shape, and power options. We install Hunter Douglas PowerView and Lutron systems, and we plan arched and oversized windows case by case.

  • Q: What window treatments help with drafty windows in older Westborough homes?

A: Cellular shades like Hunter Douglas Duette® trap air at the glass. A close, custom fit and layers such as lined drapery help too. We measure each window by hand so shades sit snugly in older colonial frames.

  • Q: Do I need historic commission approval for interior window treatments in Westborough?

A: In Massachusetts, local historic district commissions generally review exterior features visible from a public way. Interior shades, drapery, and interior shutters are typically outside that review. Rules vary by town, so check with your local historic commission before changing anything on the exterior.

  • Q: Does Simply Windows sell shades and blinds in Westborough, or only drapery?

A: Both. We offer custom Roman, woven wood, roller, and honeycomb shades, plus blinds, shutters, and drapery for Westborough homes. Hunter Douglas is our lead brand, with Norman and Alta Window Fashions. Kendra Weldon will help you choose the right mix for each room.
